Of Zipping Tennis Balls
JiaYing and Bernice were supposed to come over to hit some tennis balls last Saturday.But JiaYing had to attend a funeral,so it was ended up in the "Cancelled Plans" box.Anyway,they postponed the tennis game to today.Anyway,today after the Geography extra lessons,they came over to my place and we started playing tennis.Ive never played tennis before.Not that i remember anyway.And it was my first time stepping onto the tennis court at my estate,despite living there for the past 13 years.Oh well,there's a first time to everything eh?Well,i didnt expect myself to get down and dirty as well.My plan was:Get the key,open the gate,show them to the court and up i go back to my house to enjoy some computer surfin'.However,i ended up playing with JiaYing.Bernice brought her friend from Volleyball to the court as well.He's a weird guy really,but really funny.He's really tall,192cm if im not wrong,and a weird sense of humor.Complaining constantly that Bernice is too fat,or that she couldnt hit tennis balls.However,he did save me a lot of trouble by running around the courts picking up balls.Thanks dude.And as for the skills,Bernice managed to hit the balls yes,but it didnt exactly land in the courts.In fact,5 balls flew over the fence into the opposite court,and it was all by her.Others flew out of the court,barely missing the Mercedes parked nearby.(That gave me a fright.)Wesley,Bernice friend came over as well.He's pretty good really.Well,perhaps its not his first time?Its definitely my first time.I managed to hit some balls,but most of the time they simply fly off the court or into the net.Argh.Frustrating it is,but i still continued.Twisted my ankle,and playing with sandals is a big no no to all readers.Oh well,good enough for a first timer.Haha.And as for that tall guy,he was running around everywhere.Even across to the opposite court and up the lamp post.(Yeah,really.He's a lunatic.)However,he's ability to crack jokes with a straight face was pretty impressive,as well as the way he passes balls.Haha.JiaYing caught some of those on Bernice's phone,so you guys might want to check it out.You might think he's from Pugilistics.Really.We wanted to play till 5pm at first,but i extended the time till 6pm.Running up and down to the minimart was tiring,but i figured its time for some outdoor activities.Haha.Even if its just carrying drinks and returning keys.We stopped after 6pm,but i didnt really care.I was exhausted,and JiaYing had a sore feet.Oh well,first shot at tennis,but bad for starters.I have to get over the fear of those bloody zipping tennis balls.Well,like i said,im better at sports which does not require direct contact between the ball and any part of my body.JiaYing had some pretty scary shots,and missed my head by an inch.Phew.Mercy please.Alright,enough of those balls.I'll probably dream of them tonight.Dead tired,signing out.Out.
