Of the Hoax
Thursday,weekend's finally approaching.However,Wednesday night wasnt the best night of my life.Afterall,i spent the whole night mugging over my maths.Discrete Random Variables,Complex Numbers and Numerical Methods.Im not great in any of the chapters.In fact,Im not good at maths,at all.Anyway,so i buried my mind in those pages,while troubling my friends over the net about maths questions.And so,i ended up sleeping at 1+am.I came to school,worried that i'll fail.I studied maths during the break,i studied more during maths tutorial and CT period.I then went on into the library to do more maths.Of course,i took a little nap while i was in the library.I was too tired to do anything.Caught some sleep during GP lecture.But that was clearly not enough to wake myself up.Not until i fill my stomach with something.I was too busy to even remember the daily essentials:Food.While i was in the library,i couldnt find seats in the studying area.So i went back towards the entrance,only to find some empty sofas in the chinese book section.Three sofas were placed back to back againest each other,which means that if you were to sit on one of them,the person behind might bump into the back of your head.Anyway,so i sat myself down and plugged in my headset.Flipped to some page and started reading it.Just as i was about to change the radio station,a guy sat down behind me.No,thats not the worst part.He wanted to take a nap,so he sat back,and rested his head on the back of the sofa,not knowing that i was actually there.In the end,he rested his head not on the back of the sofa,but on my shoulders.He didnt notice at first,until i pushed his head away.Damn,that was gay.

440pm,everyone gathered in the LT for the moment of truth.We settled down on the left side of the LT,and the papers were distributed.Being the kiasu lot,we started doing the papers first.It went on alright.Though i had problems,but managed to figure them out.Of course,i left lots of blanks,but it went on way better than my other tests.Hey,i actually completed more than half of every question.Amazing.However,i had a great feeling about the test,in the sense that the stuff that i studied came out.Some of them at least,and i was pretty happy about that.I was actually excited to see how much i will get for it.Time was up,and Mr Kooi asked us to stop.Suddenly,over the microphone,he announced,"Next week is a busy week for the teachers.Sports meet,as well as other matters.We wouldnt have time to mark the papers so,keep the papers."I didnt hear it at first,and i was asking WenLai what just happened.She told me,and i went crazy.The LT started jeering at Mr Kooi.KengHung,who was at that time sitting right in front,started jeering as well.Even Nisah jeered.Haha.I was pissed,and as i went down the stairs i met Corinna,who had that "What-Just-Happened" face.I told her,"Now is the time for THAT word.".And at the count of three,we both cursed.It was frustrating really.But when i was walking home with ZaoYi,i realised that its not a bad thing afterall.I mean,in a way we've studied 3 chapters of the mid years.Thats,3 chapters down eh?Haha.Well,i dont know whether to be angry,or happy about this hoax.Whatever it is,it was a good trick.It tricked the whole school,thats for sure.Good one.Now,looking at the crop circles,that seemed like cheesecake.What a hoax.What a hoax.Applause for the Maths Department.
