Of being Disturbed
Im not disturbed by anyone,really.Not my my sister,though to a certain level,yes.I am disturbed by a video i just saw.I was talking to my friend Jonathan Leong a while ago.(Not Lim,not Chia,but Leong.)We were talking about random things,when i told him that i was looking for the video of the American soldier who got his head cut off in Iraq.I know it sounds sadistic.Call me a sadist,but i really wanted to see it.I saw parts of it on the news though.But of course,it was censored or edited.All you see is,a bunch of Iraqi soldiers talking,then you see the American guy being pushed to the ground,then it ends.Being the curious being that i am,i searched the internet for the video.When i told Jonathan about it,he told me that he had the video.His friend sent it to him,however has too scared to watch it.Jonathan has this "Heavy Metal Rocker" image in my mind.Being the guitarist of various bands he has,its hard to imagine how he actually has a soft side.Anyway,he told me he has it,but was too afraid to see it.At first,i was pumped and hyped about it.However,as the transfer started and the megabytes decreased with time,i got a little scared.I didnt know what to expect.And so,after awhile the downloading was finished.I braced myself,and turned on the file.It was from the Al Qaeda website,and it began with some Arabic words,which i couldnt read.Then it showed the American soldier,sitting on a chair,and someone talking in Arabic in the background.Next scene jumped to him kneeling on the ground and the soldiers saying something.The video lasted for 5 minutes,and for 4 minutes it was just plain talking.I skipped it,and went on to the last part.

The Iraqi soldiers pushed the American guy to the ground.One of them took out a knife from somewhere,and kneeled down on the American,while others kneeled on him to keep him from moving.It wasnt a very long knife,not one that you'll imagine to have the capability to cut someone's head off.He bent over him,then you hear the American guy screaming and yelling for mercy.After a while,the screaming ended,right after the Iraqi men slid his throat right across.He then used the knife and started cutting his throat all around.After a few chops,he managed to get it off,and held up the head to the camera.He then tossed the head onto the headless corpse.

I was very disturbed by the video.And told Jonathan about it.Eventually,he watched it as well.I have to admit,there is nothing we havent seen before in the video.Considering the fact that we have movies like Kill Bill out there,this video looked like cheese cake.However,the fact that it is real,made it scary.We were both pretty freaked out by it,and basically had our stomach turned around.Thankfully,i didnt see any blood in the video,which i might have fainted to.(Yeah,dont really see bloody.Weird.)The question i have to ask is:Why?I didnt see any hesitation in the soldier.But why?Really.What in the world is happening?People using religion as an excuse and killing people like that.I dont think Muslim laws involved chopping people's head off on national television.

Damn those Iraqi bastards.
